I am a archaeologist in New Mexico. A black soldier body was dug up from Fort Craig, NM about 35 years ago. His remains have been recovered 4/05. I am trying to find out if he has any living relatives. His name was Thomas Smith and his unit was the 125th Infantry company A,B or K. He died March 25, 1866 of sickness at Fort Craig. If you have any infomation please e-mail me.
